Juniors and Seniors: There will be a Welding Job Panel on Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 9am in the welding classroom. Come learn about jobs in the welding field and hear about the dual credit welding classes taught by Mr. Lawson. A new spring welding class will start in the spring for seniors (seniors need not have taken the fall welding class to join in the spring). Juniors can begin planning for their seniors schedule.
Welding classes are being offered at North Greene High School for dual credit with Lewis and Clark Community College. Classes are taught by Josh Lawson, Ag Teacher at NG, and are held from 7:15am-9:26 am (before school and through 1st hour) for senior students.
Fall class: WELD 190 Oxyfuel Welding & Cutting (dual credit/free)
Spring class: WELD 194 Shielded Metal Arc Welding I (dual credit/free)
Students are also able to take 2 welding classes online with Lewis and Clark for half tuition cost if they are interested (on student's own time--can have Early Release time on schedule; can count as North Greene elective credit).
