North Greene Junior Class Fundraiser
Special thanks to Mr. Kaiden Davis from Illinois Rural Electric, for coming to speak to our North Greene students today on opportunities in the lineman industry. Keep an eye out for more guests visiting our school, to speak to our students about their careers.
Last week's Spartan Spotlight featured our North Greene JH Girls Basketball team. Congrats to our 7th grade team on an outstanding season, and best of luck to our 8th graders as they compete for a Regional Championship on Wednesday.

We had several celebrations and honors tonight at the North Greene School Board Meeting. NG Senior Julia Janus and History teacher Dave McGraw were honored tonight for their research and publication of The Unwanted, a research project on the Alms House. Secondly, special thanks to the North Greene FFA for supplying a wonderful meal to appreciate our school board members.

We had a lot of Halloween fun here today at North Greene JR/SR High School. From dressing up, to our annual Pumpkin Decorating contest, our staff jumped right in to have fun with our students. Congratulations to Mr. McEvers on his 1st Place finish, Mr. Lawson on finishing 2nd, and Ms. Edwards and Mr. Leonard for tying for 3rd Place.

North Greene JR/SR High School hosted their first annual building wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament this week. Our final four competitors, Bryson Farris, Danica Newingham, Megan Depper, and Ms. Annie Dunphy, dispatched all challengers throughout the week, earning their spot in today's championship. Congratulations to our champion, Megan Depper on her outstanding performance.
This week's Spartan Spotlight features the three Browns, Choppie, Amanda, and newly married Alex, as well as Braedyn Staats, and recognizes them for all of their hard work and progress throughout the year. Keep up the great work.
