Looking back on a busy day for North Greene JR/SR High School. Congratulations to Senior Madison Blackketter on her VB Senior Night. The NG JV FB team falls in the final minute to Beardstown by a score of 22-18. Ms. Peebles and her Life Skills class enjoyed a great day of learning at Pere Marquette.

To The North Greene Nation,
We have been working on improving our communications at North Greene, both district and building wide, to disseminate as much information as possible to our students, parents, staff, and community members. Mrs. Jones has done an outstanding job of keeping up the tradition of the Daily Spartan. Our plan is to absorb the Daily Spartan's usual information, and continue to add academic, volunteer, and extra-curricular information as well, that will cover all facets of North Greene JR/SR High School. Several entities will be providing pieces of information that will fall under the umbrella of Berry 's Broadcast, which will begin as a weekly email coming out on Sunday evenings. It will contain information to prepare for the upcoming week, as well as a recap and review of the past week's events. This email will be partnered with information posted on our school social media pages, as well as a Facebook video broadcast. Our hope is that we can utilize multiple modes of communication to deliver as much information as possible to the community about the amazing things happening in our school.
This Sunday will kick-off our first edition of Berry's Broadcast both through email, social media posting, and by video broadcast. We are doing our best to constantly evolve to meet the needs of our students, staff, parents, and community members.

This week's Spartan Spotlight features our amazing kitchen staff. Thank you ladies for all of your hard work.

Thank you and congratulations to Ms. Jackie Kessinger, North Greene Student Council, and our entire North Greene staff for putting together an outstanding week of Homecoming events and activities for the students of North Greene. It was great to see the strength of our community united to celebrate North Greene. We are proud of our students, we are proud of our staff, we are proud of our community, and we are all proud to be from North Greene.

The Homecoming game was a great opportunity for the North Greene Ag Department to unveil their Mobile Welding Wagon. The T-Shirt cannon was a big hit as well, as Mr. Lawson, Queen Madison Brown, and King Brad Barfield launched shirts into the crowd.

Special thanks to Brantzel's and the North Greene Boosters for supplying the pizzas, hot dogs, and S'mores for last nights post game campfire. It was a great opportunity for our kids to be together and celebrate Homecoming.

Our North Greene students continued to celebrate Homecoming with their tradition of toilet papering the school and town last night. We completely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. Please reach out to the school at 217-374-2131 if you need any assistance with clean up, our students would be more than happy to assist. Thank you.

This week's Spartan Spotlight featured the members of the North Greene Homecoming Court. This week's Homecoming activities will see coronation at 6:30PM, prior to the Spartan Football team taking on Pleasant Hill at 7:00PM.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Adam Moffitt and the North Greene Football team. Adam suffered a concussion and bruising around the heart after taking a hit in last night's game. The entire North Greene Nation wishes him a safe and speedy recovery. Our thoughts are also with Grant Cox of Carrollton as he works to recover from a leg injury that sidelined him last night as well.
