North Greene JR/SR High School November Calendars and Menus
We had a lot of Halloween fun here today at North Greene JR/SR High School. From dressing up, to our annual Pumpkin Decorating contest, our staff jumped right in to have fun with our students. Congratulations to Mr. McEvers on his 1st Place finish, Mr. Lawson on finishing 2nd, and Ms. Edwards and Mr. Leonard for tying for 3rd Place.

North Greene JR/SR High School hosted their first annual building wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament this week. Our final four competitors, Bryson Farris, Danica Newingham, Megan Depper, and Ms. Annie Dunphy, dispatched all challengers throughout the week, earning their spot in today's championship. Congratulations to our champion, Megan Depper on her outstanding performance.
This week's Spartan Spotlight features the three Browns, Choppie, Amanda, and newly married Alex, as well as Braedyn Staats, and recognizes them for all of their hard work and progress throughout the year. Keep up the great work.

Dear North Greene Nation:
A North Greene Unit District #3 staff member and three students were involved in a serious automobile accident during the morning commute to school. At this time we have limited information but were notified by emergency response personnel that all involved individuals have been transferred to receive medical care. Out of respect for the families’ privacy, the names of the individuals involved are not being released at this time.
The district’s crisis counseling team has been made available at both schools to provide support to students and staff. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

The NG JV FB team falls in the final minute to Beardstown by a score of 22-18. Ms. Peebles and her Life Skills class enjoyed a great day of learning at Pere Marquette.

To The North Greene Nation,
We have been working on improving our communications at North Greene, both district and building wide, to disseminate as much information as possible to our students, parents, staff, and community members. Mrs. Jones has done an outstanding job of keeping up the tradition of the Daily Spartan. Our plan is to absorb the Daily Spartan's usual information, and continue to add academic, volunteer, and extra-curricular information as well, that will cover all facets of North Greene JR/SR High School. Several entities will be providing pieces of information that will fall under the umbrella of Berry 's Broadcast, which will begin as a weekly email coming out on Sunday evenings. It will contain information to prepare for the upcoming week, as well as a recap and review of the past week's events. This email will be partnered with information posted on our school social media pages, as well as a Facebook video broadcast. Our hope is that we can utilize multiple modes of communication to deliver as much information as possible to the community about the amazing things happening in our school.
This Sunday will kick-off our first edition of Berry's Broadcast both through email, social media posting, and by video broadcast. We are doing our best to constantly evolve to meet the needs of our students, staff, parents, and community members.

Ms. Peebles and her North Greene Life Skills class enjoyed a great day of learning, exploration, and fun at Greene Fields Farm. Thank you for making this day a great experience for our kids.
North Greene JR/SR High School expresses their deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Airman First Class Joshua Hopper. Josh is a North Greene High School alum and Basketball standout. The North Greene staff, school, and community mourns the loss of our friend, and will fondly remember his contributions to our school. Josh will be arriving home to White Hall this evening escorted with full military honors. I will have more information to report about timing as it gets closer.
