North Greene JR/SR High School would like to thank the Class of 1972 for their generous donation of a bench to commemorate their classmates. It will be placed outside the front entrance for student, staff, and community use.
North Greene Assessment Incentive
Congratulations to last year’s 8th grade class at North Greene JR/SR High School. This class of students demonstrated the greatest amount of growth on the Illinois Assessment for Readiness (IAR), and have earned a free pool party at the Winchester Pool on June 30 from 6:30-8:30PM. All of last year’s 8th grade class will receive free admission to the pool during that time. School transportation will not be provided. Congratulations, and I’ll see you all there.

Good evening. I wanted to send out a reminder about North Greene Summer School starting Monday, 6/5/23 at 8:00AM at the JR/SR High School. If your student is not signed up for Summer School yet, and needs to attend, please contact the school office at 217-374-2131. I will see those students registered at 8:00AM. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided. Summer Enrichment program information has also been posted on our school website and social media pages.

North Greene JH Special Recognition:
We would like to take this opportunity to recognize Mr. Jeremy Sharrow, our Assistant Athletic Director for all of his outstanding efforts this year. In the busy chaos of preparing last night's events, and assuring that everything was working smoothly, I forgot to take the opportunity to recognize Mr. Sharrow. I apologize for not being able to make that happen, and want to assure that Mr. Sharrow's efforts are extremely appreciated.
North Greene will host Orientation for our incoming Freshmen on Tuesday, 5/16/23 at 6:00PM in the HS West Gym. Please make sure that our current 8th grade students and a parent are present. Secondly, North Greene JH will conduct our annual Athletics and Activities Awards Night for students in 6th-8th grade, at 7:00PM in the JH East Gym.
