These JH math students celebrated their successes, after winning the ALEKS challenge for December, with a pizza party today. A new competition is going on right now. We can't wait to see who earns the next party.
We are so very proud of the toughness, grit, and teamwork displayed by the Spartan Boys Basketball Team this evening. You faced tremendous adversity, and demonstrated outstanding composure. Thank you for picking each other up, and truly representing Team mentality. Well done!

There will be a player/parent/coach meeting this Sunday (1/11/26) at 5:30 pm in the High School Commons for any student interested in participating in high school track for North Greene for the upcoming spring season.
North Greene High School boys basketball was originally scheduled to start with JV at 5 pm tomorrow (1/5/25) vs Father McGivney. The JV game will now start at 6pm, with varsity to follow.
North Greene 5/6 grade boys will have their player/parent/coach meeting tomorrow (1/4/25) in the Roodhouse Elementary Gym at 5:30 pm. Please plan to attend if your child plans to play basketball this season.

The Junior High students enjoyed festive dress up days this week.
North Greene JR/SR High School would like to congratulate Jim "Dink" Long and Diana Monroe on their retirement, and thank them for their years of service to the students, staff, and community of North Greene.
This week's Spartan Spotlight honored our North Greene JH and HS Band and Chorus. Special thanks to these young men and women for all of their hard work.
The North Greene High School Girls basketball game scheduled for tonight vs Brown County has been rescheduled for Friday, 01/23/26 at Brown County.
Tonight's North Greene Junior High Boys game vs Carrollton is now an 8th grade only game and will start at 6pm. There is no 7th grade game. 8th grade recognition for players and cheerleaders will take place prior to the start of the game.
Join us tonight for some JH basketball! It's 8th grade Night and we will recognize our 8th grade players and cheerleaders. We will have hot chocolate and be giving away bells while supplies last.

The North Greene Special Olympics Unified Basketball game scheduled for today has been canceled. It will be rescheduled for a later date.
The North Greene HS Girls Basketball game scheduled to be played in Springfield tomorrow at UIS has been cancelled. Also, the North Greene Unified Special Olympics Basketball game scheduled to be played in Gillespie has been cancelled as well.
Good morning. No school today at North Greene due to the weather. We are hoping with roads clearing later in the day, we should still be able to host the Spartan Classic this evening.
