Special thanks to Dr. D and the Greene County Health Department for providing our North Greene Staff with outstanding Capturing Kids Hearts training this week.
Attention to parents of students attending tonight's Baseball incentive trip: We have learned that the stadium in Springfield is cashless, and will only accept debit or credit cards. We understand that not all families will have the capability of providing debit, credit, or pre-paid cards for their children. Both school administrators will be on site with school credit cards to assist students that only bring cash. The bus will leave the HS/JH in White Hall at 4:30PM for all students. We are excited to provide this opportunity for our students to celebrate their achievements on the IAR, PSAT, and SAT.
North Greene JR/SR High School Supply List 2024-2025
The North Greene Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Anthony Willeford as our new Athletic Director, and Logan Staats as our new HS Girls Basketball Coach. Anthony is a 2010 graduate from NG, where he played FB, BKB, and BB. Willeford continued his Baseball career at MacMurray College while earning his Bachelors. Anthony spent seven years in the Air Force, before returning to NG. He will also be taking on the duties of Director of Restorative Discipline, along with his AD responsibilities.
Coach Logan Staats is a 2009 graduate from NG, where he played Basketball and Baseball. Coach Staats earned his Bachelors from McKendree University, and his certificate from EIU. Logan has served as our JH Girls Basketball Coach for the last two years, teaching JH Coding and Careers. This year he will be moving to our HS Boys PE position as well as taking over our HS Girls BKB program.
We are excited for these two new additions, and look forward to continuing to grow and improve our programs.
Come out and support the North Greene Jr/Sr High School Booster Fundraiser on Saturday, July 20th from 2:00PM-5:00PM at the former Hunters Horn on 267, between White Hall and Carrollton.
There will be a silent auction for gifts, class photos, and memorabilia banners. They will be selling gun and grill raffle tickets, which includes a meal with each ticket purchase.
There will be pork chops, hamburgers, hot dogs,
baked beans, pasta salad, drinks, and cookies while supplies last.

Good morning. The Baseball game incentive scheduled for Friday, 7/19/24, for the students who met or exceeded on last year's state testing for IAR, PSAT 9, 10, and SAT, has been rescheduled. We are looking to reschedule the trip for 7/31/24. Our office staff will be in contact with families to determine an accurate count of students that will be attending. Thanks, Brett Berry - Principal
