North Greene JR/SR High School 2024-2025 Attendance Report
📢 Did You Know? Understanding Attendance & Truancy in Illinois 📢
In the state of Illinois, a student is considered chronically absent when they miss 10% or more of the school year, whether the absences are excused or unexcused. That’s just 17.5 days in a full year—and those days add up quickly.
Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in a child’s success at school. 📘✨ When students miss school, they miss out on valuable learning, friendships, and routines that help them grow.
At North Greene JR/SR High School, we understand that life happens—and we are here to support our families. If you’re facing challenges that affect your child’s attendance, please reach out. We’re here to help. 💙
You can take a look at a snapshot of our attendance for the 2024–2025 school year, and we’re setting goals to increase those percentages each year. Together, we can make every day count!
