IHSA Boys BKB Sectional at North Greene: Routt's Nolan Killion drills a 3 pointer at the buzzer in Double OT to give the Rockets a 37-34 victory over the Metro-East Lutheran Knights. Routt will face Liberty in the Sectional Championship on Friday night at 7:00PM in White Hall.

HS Boys BKB falls to Greenfield 51-30. Scott 8, Hinsey 5, Clark 4, Moffitt 3. HS Girls BKB-Bailey Berry took 2nd in the Regional, and advanced to Sectionals in the IHSA 3Pt. Showdown.
The Varsity Boys BKB game vs. Greenfield is on for today in White Hall, with a 4:30PM start. Senior Cheer recognition will take place after the game.
The NGHS Boys BKB games and the NGJH VB games scheduled for tonight at home have been canceled for today. The HS Boys BKB game against Greenfield will be rescheduled for Friday, 2/18/22 at 4:30PM. Senior Cheer recognition will take place at approximately 5:45PM after the game.
Congratulations to Bailey Berry for breaking the NGHS Girls BKB scoring record for points in a season with 484, previously set by Jennifer Burton in 1988, with 473. Berry also broke the school record for Free Throws made in a season with 113, set by Doni Henson in 1990 with 107.

The Spartan Basketball team battled all night against Calhoun, but fell just short late in the game, losing 53-41. Reese Scott led NG with 16 points, while Garret Hazelwonder chipped in 10.
Congratulations to the North Greene 7th grade Volleyball team on their 2nd place finish in the Greenfield Tournament today.
The NGHS Girls BKB team went down swinging today, as they fell to West Central 42-30 in IHSA Regional action. NG trailed 18-15 at the half, but couldn't hold on in the 4th. Bailey Berry finished her HS career with another 20 point performance, while Maddi Osborne added 4 points.
