North Greene will be allowing Home team fans to attend their athletic contests starting Saturday, 2/6/21. All IDPH guidelines must be followed. Teams are allowed the following number of guests per athlete:
JH Boys BKB - 2
HS Boys BKB - 2
HS Girls BKB - 3
JH VB - 1
JH Cheer - 1
HS Cheer - 1
*Guests must sign in upon arrival, and sit in designated seats spaced 6' apart. Masks must be worn at all times. There will be no concessions available at this time.
North Greene Athletics Update
I want to extend a special thanks to the North Greene athletes, coaches, and parents for their courage, dedication , and flexibility in getting our sports programs off and running during these crazy times. Thank you for everything you do for kids.
Tutoring/ homework help starts today 3:30-5:00. If your student is missing multiple assignments, and the teacher is still letting them turn the assignments, make sure they come to tutoring/ homework help after school.
It has been rumored that North Greene Junior Senior High School is having a dance. We, however, are not having a dance. This would not follow IDPH guidelines, and at this time, we are not in the position to be able to host any activities like this. Thank you.

North Greene JR/SR High Updates: Friday 12/11/20
- School will be dismissed at 11:30AM
- Sack Lunches will be sent home with students upon dismissal
- Remote Learners will pick up lunch from 11:00-12:00 on the North Side of the school at the White Tent, to avoid the Bus Lane
Login screen for Educere/remote classes for 2nd semester. Students can view assignments, videos, and gradebook, and track their progress. These courses are self paced--no specific log in times.
Jostens Class Ring Delivery for North Greene
As we all heard from Mr. Scott, if students are going to stay remote for next semester we will need to know by December 11th. We will running our remote program in partnership with Educere. There is information in Educere attached to this message. Your teachers would not be North Greene teachers and you will be receiving your grade through the Educere teachers. They will send you weekly progress and by weekly calls. If this is the option you want to go with let us know by December 11th. There are certain hands on courses that Educere may not be able to provide and students are NOT allowed to do part Educere, part in person. Your student will be required to do one or the other. So, they are either in person, or doing Educere. If a student is in person but has to quarantine because of COVID 19, they will be required to do their North Greene classes through Google meets until they are off quarantine.
Just a reminder that all remote students need to be logged into their classes and participating in discussion, or answering teachers questions to be counted as present. Too many students are logging in and walking away from their computers or not turning their camera on. So, if students want to be on remote and be considered present for class, they have to be logged in at their computers and participating in the class. Thank you! Have a nice day!
Juniors and parents/guardians: Any junior interested in taking the PSAT test in January (practice for the spring SAT test), $17 is due to the office by Thursday to reserve your test. This date has been extended a couple times, and Thursday is the LAST day to reserve the test!
Remember we have tutoring after school from 2:30-4:30. Come prepared to work with your chrome books and chargers.
