A huge shout out goes to the North Greene JR/SR High on an outstanding week of education. Students and staff stepped up in a less than desirable situation to work together and produce something outstanding. Student attendance was excellent during live lessons throughout the building. Teachers were lecturing, leading discussions, and opening minds. Students were collaborating together to create projects, work problems, and organize information. I witnessed small group discussions in class, remotely, students creating digital gifs in art, students laughing and smiling, teachers enjoying their craft, paraprofessionals diligently getting lunches and information out to those in need, our kitchen staff making sure that no child goes hungry, custodians engaged in vital disinfection and cleaning, an office staff fielding phone calls from computer issues to scheduling questions, and an overall feel that was as close to normal as we can get right now. They have all made the decision, that instead of lamenting over what things "should be", to stand proud, and see what "could be", all for the greater good of our children. We are North Greene Proud, and we will continue to do whatever is necessary to improve the lives of our students.

Thanks to the Booth family for taking great care of the Spartan Squatter.

Devin, Blake, and Hannah enjoy a great evening with the Spartan Squatter.
