Special thanks to author Jo Salazar for her visit to North Greene. It was great to have you visit with our students.

Today's Spartan Spotlight featured our North Greene Junior High Student Council. Keep up the great work.

Shout out to senior Sierra VanMeter, who is a member of ISBE's Student Advisory Council, and leads the student committee of "Student Engagement". Sierra led a discussion at the Student Summit at ISU today, regarding Student Engagement in Illinois schools.

Our SkillsUSA student organization recently attended Amplify in Springfield at the Capitol. This is program/event where students (SkillsUSA chapters) present themselves in the halls of the Capitol to speak with state legislators about the importance of CTE in our schools and curriculum. Our students personally spoke with Representative CD Davidsmeyer, Senator Steve McClure (prior Senator for our area), and Senator Jill Tracy's secretary.
